Brooklyn, MI – Region 2 Area Agency on Aging announces that Glen Ashlock, of Brooklyn, has been appointed to the Michigan Statewide Independent Living Council.
Ashlock is the Assistive Technology and Information Technology Manager for Region 2 Area Agency on Aging and has been with the company for eight years. He has paraplegia and has worked in the disability field for over 30 years. He has long-term professional experience with independent living for people with disabilities.
Ashlock’s professional experience includes working in a hospital, at a Center for Independent Living, and currently at an Area Agency on Aging providing services to older adults and people with disabilities.
Region 2 Area Agency on Aging was established in 1974 and is a not-for-profit agency serving older adults and adults with disabilities in Jackson, Hillsdale and Lenawee Counties.
